Linda grew up on a small farm north of Zionsville and was first introduced to accounting by her mother, who was an accountant in the nonprofit industry. Linda took an accounting course in high school and fell in love with it. After graduation from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1988 with a degree in accounting, Linda received her CPA certificate in 1991. She has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, having worked for CPA firms in Indianapolis and Anderson, then coming to JNW Group in 2021. Linda is also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Linda lives in Noblesville with her husband Kevin, who retired from Anderson University, and their younger son Luke. She currently serves as treasurer for Christmas in Action Hamilton County, a nonprofit organization that provides needed home repairs and improvements for elderly and disabled homeowners. In addition, she assists the treasurer of Interlock of East Central Indiana, a group dedicated to serving those affected by autism. In the past, she has served as treasurer on the boards for the Corporation for Economic Development, the Anderson/Madison County Visitors Bureau, and her neighborhood homeowner's association. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and home improvement projects. She also loves playing Words with Friends and welcomes any challenger who comes along.
